Hyaku

Brouwerij: Inoue Brewery (Oita)
Type: Shochu
Alcohol: 44%
Inhoud: 720ml

 50,00 incl. vat

This barley-based shochu is a refined alternative to whisky. After 6 years of maturing in white oak barrels, it acquires a phenomenally rich aroma of fruit, paired with caramel and wood. In the long, soft aftertaste, there are impressions of wheat.

The bottle says “liqueur” because shochu by definition may contain 25% to 37%. This falls outside of this and is therefore cataloged under a general liqueur term.

Try this one in different ways:

• Pure
• On the rocks
• Mixed with lukewarm or warm water.
• Mixed with (oolong) tea or fruit juice.
• In a cocktail, see our cocktails for that!

Why did the sake go to therapy?
Because it had too many issues to "ferment"!
